Hi, I'm Lara Boss, Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
I have over 35 years social work experience, specialising in anxiety, depression, and couples therapy.
I have worked in a variety of settings including tertiary hospitals, age care facilities and private practice.
My services include private counselling for issues including depression and anxiety, stress, relationships, trauma and change management. Additionally I provide supervision and mentoring services.
I work with adolescents (16+), adults, and couples across a wide range of concerns, from mental health and trauma to relationship issues and life transitions.
I am dedicated to providing a safe, confidential space where you can explore your experiences, strengthen your wellbeing, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
Drawing on my extensive experience within NSW Health – including roles as Acting Director of Allied Health for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District and Head of Social Work at Prince of Wales, St George and Sutherland hospitals – I offer supervision and mentoring services.
I am passionate about supporting individuals to grow in confidence, strengthen their skills and navigate the challenges of their work in a safe, supportive space.
